Carefor Hospice has been nominated for the Aviva Community fund. To move on to the semi final round we need your HELP. Please follow the attached link and vote for Hospice. You can vote daily from each of your email addresses. The voting begins on Monday, Oct 22nd and continues until November 5th. If we make it to the end we stand to receive $80,000. On June 24, an extraordinary event will take place at the Creston Golf Course.
Alex Nilsson is going to raise funds for the Creston-Kootenay Foundation by asking people to sponsor him as he plays as many holes of golf in 24 hours as possible. Last year he took on this challenge and played 150 holes on his way to raising more than $6,000. This year, his goal is an astounding 200 holes, or 11 plus rounds on our local course.
